Stage 4 of the Redlands Bicycle Classic downtown criterium delivered thrilling sprint finishes in both the women’s and men’s races.
- Women’s Race:
- Ella Sabo (Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY28) outsprinted race leader Lauren Stephens and Heather Fischer to claim her second stage win.
- Stephens extended her GC lead to 15 seconds over Emily Ehrlich, while also retaining the QOM jersey.
- Olivia Cummins stayed atop the sprint standings.
- Men’s Race:
- Jim Brown (L39ION of Los Angeles) timed his sprint perfectly to win, ahead of Luke Elphingstone and Alejandro Che.
- Eric Brunner (Project Echelon Racing) reclaimed the GC lead thanks to bonus seconds, now holding a razor-thin two-second advantage over Eder Frayre.
- Ethan Durham leads KOM, while Andrew Carr tops the sprint standings.
The race concludes Sunday with the Sunset Road stage — a brutal finale where GC leads have often been overturned thanks to time bonuses and relentless climbing.
