Boxing star Anthony Joshua was injured in a tragic car crash in Sagamu, Nigeria on December 29, an accident that claimed the lives of two members of his training team.
Joshua, a former two‑time heavyweight champion, was in Nigeria during the holiday period to visit family. The crash involved a Lexus Jeep carrying five men, including Joshua. His personal trainer Latif Ayodele and strength coach Sina Ghami sadly lost their lives.

- Driving without a valid license
- He pleaded not guilty, claiming the vehicle’s brakes failed.
- Kayode was granted bail of ₦5,000,000 (approx. $3,480) at Sagamu Magistrates’ Court.
