- Martinez missed the weekend clash with Nottingham Forest due to a calf issue, while Sancho has been sidelined with a shoulder injury.
- Emery confirmed both trained on Wednesday:
- “Martinez is training with us. Normally he will be available tomorrow.”
- “Sancho is coming back… he adapted in our structure, getting better. It’s a pity he was injured.”
- Backup keeper Marco Bizot could still start, with Martinez saved for Sunday’s Premier League match vs Sunderland.
- Sancho is expected to be eased back, likely starting from the bench.
